OSS Week -- Training Programmes in Open Source Software
The Open Source Software (OSS) Week is being organized with two/three
days Training Programmes in Open Source Essentials in parallel at
different places in Tamilnadu from 22-24, January 2008 by the Div 2
on Software, SIGOSS & Div V on Education and Research of the Computer
Society of India (CSI) & IEEE Computer Society, Madras Chapter in
association with the Center for International Cooperation for
Computerization (CICC) and the National Resource Centre for Free and
Open Source Software (NRCFOSS) of CDAC with the support of the host
institutions namely CDAC, VIT Univ. & Bharadhidasan University
Guidelines: The registration for these programs is either free of cost
or at a nominal charges to cover the basic cost of the training and
will be left to respective programme centres. The no. of participants
would be around 30 per programme and will be first cum first served
basis. For registrations, pl. get in touch with the contact persons of
the respective programme. Programme No. 1: At Chennai during 22-23, Jan 08.
